Expect the Unexpected!

What a day it has been today! It started out great. Yes, I was actually slightly happy when Malea woke up at 6 this morning to eat because it meant I could feed her and work out before anyone else was up. I've been doing Jillian Michaels 30 day shred workout DVD the past few days and it was so nice to be able to do it without Kaidrei wanting to be held. I'm positive that the workout was not intended for one armed jumping jacks while holding a toddler!

Brian went in to get Kaidrei when he got up but she was still asleep and wouldn't get up. He opened the garage door and came back in to see if he could say goodbye but she still wouldn't budge. About a half hour after he left, Kaidrei came out of her room and I was shocked to see that her pajamas were covered in throw up! After a quick look at her bed I realized that the reason she was curled up on the foot of her bed was that the pillow and the rest of her bed were wet and dirty. Poor Girl.

I won't go into detail, but I'll just say that at 6 o clock this morning, I wasn't planning on haveing two girls sick with fevers, washing mulitple loads of blankets and pillows, giving multiple baths to both girls, having my computer die, or burning dinner!

Writing it out makes it seem like it was a miserable day, but really it has been a pretty good day too. We spent a lot of time cuddling while reading stories, we watched a movie, we played with some new toys that we were able to check out from the library yesterday and my favorite moment was when Kaidrei and Malea played peek a boo.

I just love that this was all Kaidrei's doing! She just gave Malea her blanket and saw that Malea smiled so she kept doing it and it got more and more animated as it went on. As usual I only caught the end of it on tape because I sat there and laughed with them for the first 3 minutes of the game.

This was the best 5 minutes ever! I absolutely love seeing my girls playing together already and I know they are going to do it more and more as they get older. I can't imagine life without them. They are both so precious to me.
